An Amazing Program:
Shawnee High School located in Medford NJ has had a winning Lacrosse season ever since its inception. The one year without success in 2019-2020 was purely because there was no high school lacrosse.
After falling short in four previous Group final appearances, including spring of 2022, the Renegades caught fire at the right time with the right mix of players in Spring of 2023.
Head Coach, Don Green took the Renegades on a magical run of 18-3 and won its 1st state championship in program history defeating Chatham, 11 – 8 in the NJSIAA Group 3 Championship game.
The Renegades previously lost in Group finals in 2009, 2013, 2015 and 2022.
Shawnee closed out the season ripping off an 11-game win streak. In five postseason games, Shawnee outscored its opponents, 77-25.
